The MRT program is designed around troubled youth and young adults (25 and younger), within Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Suwannee, and Union counties, who are in need of 24/7 crisis intervention services. The program’s goals are to lessen the trauma of crisis situations, particularly, diverting individuals away from ER’s and/or jail, and stabilizing them in the most conducive setting possible.

Real help for expected mothers

Mothers Intensive Supportive Treatment (MIST) is a 16-bed, multi-faceted treatment program for pregnant and parenting women who struggle with addiction. The program is housed at the Sid Martin Bridge House in Gainesville. In the MIST program, infants stay with the mother, allowing for crucial bonding that takes place in the early months of development while allowing the mother to receive treatment and remain drug-free during nursing.
